It has a hydraulic shock-absorbing buffer that greatly mitigates recoil and enhances overall accuracy, as well as a cold-hammer forged barrel with a remarkably long service life12.

The APC223 is compatible with AR-type magazines and has many controls that are reminiscent of the AR-15 platform, such as the ambidextrous safety selector and the trigger assembly1. The APC223 is manufactured with Swiss-made precision that B&T is known for.
