HOWA M1500 .450 BUSHMASTER BOLT-ACTION RIFLE

This Howa 1500 in .450 Bushmaster is a compact, lightweight hunting rifle that's easy to carry all day AND packs a wallop! It's built on Howa's ultra-compact Mini Action, which helps keep the rifle's bulk to a minimum, and it comes with an HTI® synthetic stock that's pretty much impervious to whatever weather Mother Nature can dish out (front and rear sling swivel studs included, too).



Originally developed for the AR-15 platform, the hard-hitting .450 Bushmaster cartridge has become in popular bolt action rifles, too, and it is ideal for use in states that have big-bore, straight-wall ammo requirements for hunting deer. The good news this Howa 1500 is fitted with muzzle brake that tames felt recoil and tamps down muzzle rise so you're ready for FAST follow-up shots - just in case you need a second shot to make sure that trophy animal stays down. A 16.25" barrel keeps the overall length to just a skosh under 35", making for an ultra-handy and easy to maneuver rifle. A 4-round detachable box magazine makes reloads quick and easy. Howa's clean, precise HACT two-stage trigger works with you to achieve those longer range shots. Another feature you don't see on every "budget" rifle: the action is pillar bedded in the stock, further enhancing the accuracy potential of this handy little rifle built to work hard and bring home the Big Game!
